As we begin the New Year, let's celebrate life to its fullest! Here is a fun modern quilt that makes us smile. Starting with a curved piecing pattern by Sew Kind of Wonderful, Cynthia Thomas used colorful solids to create a joyful tableaux of children.

Based on the Happy Together pattern by Sew Kind of Wonderful, the quilt was entirely machine pieced. We love the use of solid color fabrics and the different hair styles of the children! Cynthia Thomas says, "Children are the most precious part of life to me. As a mom, teacher, and grandmother, I have been blessed to fully experience the joy of having children in my life, and for that, I am grateful."
This piece was beautifully quilted by Kathryn Walker who used computer-guided and original digitized quilting. Individual figures were outlined for emphasis, and each hairstyle received a custom quilting design.
