Back in the early 2000 I made a quilt inspired by Amish quilts called "Amish Tulips" ... all solids on black. As we moved to a house too small for a queen-sized bed, I have passed it to one of my daughters to enjoy.Julie Fukudahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15704374750710761269noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7400399864487355753.post-15950669234682894932017-01-11T05:29:15.379-08:002017-01-11T05:29:15.379-08:00Love these - thanks!

At first, I had dismissed it as being nothing like an Amish quilt. The close up confirms that, although there is no black, there is also no printed fabric. The tiny squares that seem to be prints are actually made of tinier solid fabrics. What intricate work and how time-consuming it must have been! I salute you Janet Davis!kitbluhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17019115567982952470noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7400399864487355753.post-7945591517916913072017-01-10T08:57:43.366-08:002017-01-10T08:57:43.366-08:00They are so pretty. They are so pretty.Conniehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08187302890702147585noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7400399864487355753.post-73320087425001405382017-01-10T08:52:52.719-08:002017-01-10T08:52:52.719-08:00Love the Amish quilts!
