Here are MORE free patterns for festive holiday quilts. We've included plenty of pretty pieced patterns which can be made in a hurry... just in time for the holidays! Note: this post was updated in 2015. For the current post, see Free pattern day: Christmas 2015 (part 3).
All very nice. But after seeing all three parts, it sure would be nice to think part 4 will be some Nativity set quilts - some of us do celebrate it still and would love to hang one of that topic over the mantel. Thanks for sharing.

Sure wish Woodland Trees was a free pattern-link is to only the Christmas fabric requirements, with an additional link to purchase the pattern.
ReplyDeleteHi Hollerbear, thank you for the tip.. we have fixed the problem!
DeleteI am also looking for the full directions for woodland trees. Can you help me find the correct link to those instructions? Thanks!
DeleteHello Teresa,
DeleteAs noted above, Woodland Trees is NOT a free pattern. The fabric company made a mistake. The pattern is available for purchase at various online websites including this one below (as of this date):

Hello I would like to know if any one out there has tried making the Christmas stocking on Mary Jane Carey's book. The book is called Christmas Sparkle and for the life of me I have went over it and over it and can't seem to understand Fig. 7 & 8 because on # 2 she tells you to sew the front and back cuff and then the front and back lining of cuff together. ok I do that and then when it comes to # 4 up put your prairie points in place and baste on the bottom. Ok then on 5 she says # 5 slip cuff inside cuff lining:pin sew bottom edge of cuff and lining together. any way can some one out there help me. Please I have to finish this tomorrow.
