Not everyone answers the call to serve our country. It is those rare
individuals who are selfless enough to sacrifice so much so we can all
enjoy the freedoms we have. We are reminded of their sacrifices on holidays such as Memorial Day and Veterans Day. Here is a beautiful patriotic quilt by a local Quilts of Valor group.

Eagle Wings Quilts of Valor Bee, Sit & Sew Project, 2025
Today's quilt was a project of the Eagle Wings Quilts of Valor Bee group in Tucson, Arizona. We love the eagles fabric panel and the corner New York Beauty blocks. The QOV group offered quilters the chance to sit down at a
sewing machine and sew a block of this quilt at
the 2025 Tucson Quilters Guild show. The blocks are used to create new quilts for
military service members and veterans.
The gorgeous eagle panel is made by Sykel Enterprises, a division of Benartex, in their Thank You Heroes collection. As of this writing, the 36" x 44" panel can still be found at various sites including Amazon and on Etsy (Here and Here.)
