Twelve Days of Hearts, Flowers and Friendship: Day 2

Welcome to our tribute to Valentine's Day quilts ! With its emphasis on love, kindness and caring for others, Valentine's Day is one of our favorite celebrations. We're calling it "Twelve Days of Hearts, Flowers, and Friendship."  Here is our feature quilt for Day 2.

Magical Moments by Charlene Nelson

The center hearts were made in 2001 from a pattern in an American Quilter Magazine. The borders were added over the years as the quilt evolved.  What a positive message: "Love grows.... love flows... love is spoken here."  It has a double batting of Hobbs wool and 80/20 Heirloom. It received Honorable Mention at the 2016 Springville (Utah) quilt show.
