"Kind words are like HONEY, sweet for the soul." This saying is embroidered on Time for All Seasons, a design by Janet Nesbitt, made by Debra Scarlata in the colors of fall. Pumpkins, sunflowers, baskets and flying geese complete the scene.

Debra Scarlata says she has long admired the whimsical designs of One Sister Designs (Janet Nesbitt). A summer Block of the Week (BOW) by The Quilt Basket provided an opportunity to finally make one. We enjoyed all the details in these blocks, including the embroidered saying shown below.
The word "Shine" is appliqued in light green letters, shown below.
A whimsical beehive is done in warm colors of honey, shown below. Jean Firestine also quilted flowers, stars, and a flowering vine in the dark (right-hand) vertical border.
