Free patterns: St. Patrick's Day

Did you know that St. Patrick's Day is the most widely celebrated saints day in the world?  Many countries celebrate St. Patrick's Day with parades, green attire, green food and - occasionally - green beer.   Here are some free quilt patterns for shamrocks, Irish chain wall hangings and quilts and Celtic designs.

Celtic Knots: Here are some designs that can be constructed with quick, fusible bias tape  (for sources see Quilter's Fancy and Clover and the article How to Make Celtic Bias Tape Designs).  These have free downloadable motifs.
