Quilt Inspiration: Posy Park

Spring has sprung where we are, bringing warmer days and walks in the park. And what could be more lovely than this glorious reminder of flowers, birds, and green leaves?  This quilt is aptly named Posy Park.

Posy Park, made and quilted by Linda Cote

This fabulous creation was based on the Posy Park design by Kathy Doughty.  Winner of a blue ribbon, Linda Cote began the project in a workshop at Empty Spools.  The quilt is resplendent with flowers, pieced and appliqued birds and wedding ring blocks, done in bright colors and prints that remind us of spring. Various Kaffe Fassett fabrics were used to great effect.

The award-winning applique work and quilting was all done by Linda Cote.
