Christmas 2015 is drawing near, and we wanted to share some of the amazing, gorgeous Christmas quilts we've seen this year. Simple Gifts by Diane Chambers

Simple Gifts began as a collection of fat quarters and a pattern by Sandy Gervais  (Shopping's Done! Gifts Wrapped). Diane Chambers says, "I liked the red, turquoise and lime off-beat color combo for Christmas. The whack and stack assembly technique was freeing for me. I subbed out some colors and organized the layout into color columns."

Diane says, "This was my first attempt at ruler work on my [HandiQuilter] HQ-16, echoing the presents, leaving gifts unquilted so they’d pop a bit."
