A Little Pineapple

Have you ever made a Pineapple quilt?  This miniature quilt really caught our eye. It's made entirely with red batiks on a grunge background. It's both spicy and spiky!  Also scroll down for a link to a paper pieced pineapple tutorial.

White Sangria, made and quilted by Laura Pech

Laura Pech says that she always has been enthralled with Amish and traditional patterns, and continues to have a love affair with batiks. This was made with] all red batiks using Grunge fabric for the background.  It was machine quilted (free motion) on a Pfaff domestic machine using variegated thread.
