Gingerbread Joy by Sue Garman
Sue was inspired by the Christmas season, a time when gingerbread cookies are abundant, to create this beautiful block-of-the-month
quilt. She included
appliqued blocks of various gingerbread characters, a house, and
floral designs.

In between, she added pieced blocks, which vary both in size and
design. Sue made sure to capture the gingerbread man rhyme with the
embroidered words between the blocks.
Sue's darling quilt is hand-appliqued, embroidered, embellished with buttons, machine pieced, and quilted. These whimsical gingerbread people really do look like freshly-baked cookies whose fragrance fills the home. We hope your holidays are filled with the fragrance of wonderful goodies this year !
