Kaffe Fassett Quilt Inspiration: Big Diamonds

Kaffe Fassett has inspired people across the world with his creative, colorful fabrics. We love seeing these fabrics showcased. Here is Kaffe's own Big Diamonds quilt featuring bright prints and complimentary hues. It's a fantastic design that uses only half-square triangles.

Artisan Big Diamonds by Kaffe Fassett & Liza Prior Lucy

Kaffe Fassett says, "When I arrived in England in the 1960s, I was struck by the use of two-color bold prints.  It was a glorious time of simplicity, boldness, and high colors.  It still inspires me today."

Kaffe continues, "My Artisan fabrics were inspired by my travels to ethnic markets where I witnessed beautifully hand-crafted textiles. Thus, Artisan by Kaffe Fassett for Free Spirit Fabrics was created, composed of 100% cotton, hand-dyed batik, primitive yarn-dyed woven & Ikat fabrics."
