Germany is credited with starting the Christmas tree tradition as we now know it. Selecting a Christmas tree and decorating it is an important part of the holiday for many of us. This quilted wall hanging brings to mind the beauty of the evergreen tree!

Enchanted Pine by Lucy Thurston
We love the simplicity and elegance of this quilt, with its formal printed fabric border. Lucy Thurston says this was her first paper-pieced quilt project! The piecing was completed during a 3-day quilt retreat in Pinetop, Arizona. Lucy did the final quilting as well. The pattern source is "Trim the Tree" by Cindi Edgerton. This pattern is now out of print, but can sometimes be found at Etsy and other online sources as of this writing.]
